About Lyrical Acro
Our Lyrical Acro classes are where the worlds of dance and acrobatics come together.
Designed for students with some dance or acro experience, these classes blend contemporary dance, lyrical movement and acrobatic skills in a fun, supportive environment. The first half of each class focuses on learning contemporary acro tricks, floor work and technical skills, before bringing them together through expressive choreography.
Then comes everyone's favourite part - we dim the lights, switch on the fairy lights, and transform the studio as we learn a beautiful contemporary/lyrical routine that incorporates the skills we've been working on.
These classes are open to students from any dance studio and are perfect for anyone looking to explore a more expressive style of movement while continuing to develop their strength, flexibility and technique. Whether acro is your main passion or you're wanting to complement your dance training, Lyrical Acro offers the perfect blend of athleticism and artistry.
